The IDG framework and Adult Development theory: How can they work together?
- Mobilizing a movement towards the IDG:s -
In this gathering we will apply the Inner Development Goals framework in the area of Adult Development Theory together with Dr. Jonathan Reams and Prof. Michael F. Mascolo.
What does adult development mean for working with the Inner Development Goals? What lessons can we take from the field of adult development to help us achieve the IDGs? What might be limitations? What might ‘robust’ inner development mean and why is it important? How could it support our ability to serve better in the world?
In this interactive workshop, PhD Jonathan Reams and Prof. Michael F. Mascolo, curious explorers of adult development, will guide us into exploring some key considerations they have learned about adult development as well as share some practices that they find useful.
The Gathering will start 15.30 CET in Zoom.
About the IDGs:
In 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provided us with a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world. However, progress is slow. Growth That Matters believe that personal development is necessary for societal change.
This is why we now are co-creating the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) - a blueprint of the capabilities, qualities and skills that are needed to achieve the 17 SDGs. Our aim is to inspire, educate and empower people to be a positive force for change in society and find a more purposeful way to look at our lives and our planet.
The IDGs will provide an essential framework and field-kit for inner growth - an accelerator to create a prosperous future for all of humanity.
